“To Be Loved is to be Strange“ is an exploration of clown portraiture. Each participant comes in their own clothes, and they choose their own makeup. The series utilizes the exaggerated personas and humor of clowns to address mental health, gender identity and self-expression. I want this series to be ongoing.
